About the Unit and Department

The Technology and Maintenance Office for Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst) is primarily located in Enköping. The unit's task is to take responsibility for the entire lifecycle within the IT area. The assignments are broad and can involve feasibility studies, development, management, decommissioning, consolidation, and change projects. The department works through the entire technical chain, from end-users via applications and middleware down to IT infrastructure. Realization methods include both in-house developed and standard systems or cloud services.

About the Position

You will be part of a team that includes IT and Information Security Analysts, IT Coordinators, and Project Managers. Together with colleagues in the area of expertise, you will provide support to projects, assignments, and line organizations where expertise in IT and information security is required.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct threat and vulnerability analyses for operations and systems, including documentation of these
• Develop Special Security Protection Assessments (SSB) and IT Security Specifications (ITSS) and maintain these in the chain of requirements-building-testing-evaluation
• Participate in architecture and design work regarding system construction and be responsible for producing descriptive documents regarding IT and Information Security
• Prepare and review system approval and accreditation documentation and/or decisions for the Armed Forces' systems
• Evaluate and review business processes and technical solutions from a security perspective
• Conduct security analyses regarding IT systems, business, and organizational structure, products, and technical solutions
• Develop or participate in the development of guidelines and policies regarding IT and Information Security
• Conduct continuity planning
• Analyze issues, methods, incidents, or similar within the field of information security and provide proposals for decisions and actions
• Evaluate, develop, and/or review methods within information security

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree in the IT field or equivalent competence assessed by the employer
• At least 5 years of current experience in IT and information security
• Work experience from the public sector
• Experience in security reviews, validations, or audits
• Experience in conducting threat and vulnerability analyses for operations and IT systems
• Experience in interpreting legally binding regulations and translating rules into requirements for IT systems and operations
• Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Relevant certifications in the field of IT and information security.
• Work experience in information security work during the development of applications and/or IT infrastructure handling classified security information.
• Work experience in requirement specification for IT and information security in LOU/LUFS procurement for maintenance both in-house or externally.

Furthermore, you are engaged, self-driven, have the ability to take your own initiatives, and possess good analytical skills. You have a sense of structure and good planning and can see the whole picture. Collaboration skills are a strong point for you.

Employment Type

Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a 6-month probationary period for those who are not currently employed within the Armed Forces.
