We are now looking for a Software Engineer with experience in Frontend development to join one of our software development teams within the R&D BioProcess Software department at Cytiva in Uppsala. The department currently consists of around 90 employees responsible for software development within the BioProcess Downstream business area. Our largest software, UNICORN, is used by chromatography, cell culture, and filtration systems for control, monitoring, and advanced analysis.

In the role of Software Engineer, you will work in a dynamic and agile environment where you will be part of a team involved in the entire development process from requirements specification to implementation and testing, and finally verification. Automated unit testing, TDD (Test Driven Design), and BDD (Behavior Driven Design) are integral parts of the working method. The position is on-site in Uppsala.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan and develop new features for our products and conduct technical investigations.
• Write technical documentation such as software design, requirements, and test specifications.
• Maintain existing products.
• Support our customer support team with technical expertise regarding our products and occasionally participate in technical investigations of customer issues.

The main requirements for the position are:

• Relevant university education, such as MSc / BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experience in software development with a focus on C# / .NET and WPF / Win Forms.
• Familiarity with working within a quality system.
• You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

It is also advantageous if you have:

• Experience with TDD (Test Driven Design) and BDD (Behavior Driven Design).
• Experience in product development and knowledge of the product lifecycle.
• Familiarity with working within a quality system.
• Experience with agile working methods.
• Interest in cyber security and secure coding.
