We are looking for a driven and solution-oriented network architect who wants to be part of developing the future IT environment within forest research.

With us, you will be involved in developing our digital infrastructure and other IT tools. This is a key role in supporting our researchers by creating and maintaining applications in Azure, while building and optimizing solutions for networking, storage, and virtualization – both in the cloud and on-premises.

You will be an important part of our IT department, where you contribute your expertise to ensure that our technical platforms are robust, flexible, and tailored to the needs of the business. With an eye for the big picture and an ability to handle complex systems, you ensure that our solutions are efficient, sustainable, and future-proof.

Your profile

We believe that you have a relevant education in computer science or a related field, as well as experience working with cloud platforms, especially Azure. You have solid knowledge in networking, storage, and virtualization and are accustomed to working both strategically and operationally. Experience with hybrid environments and integrating cloud and on-premises solutions is a plus.

You are an analytical and collaborative person who enjoys taking responsibility and solving technical challenges. Through your communication skills and commitment, you build strong relationships both internally and externally.
