The Biostatistics section at UCR currently consists of 19 biostatisticians and statistical programmers. We are now looking for a knowledgeable and committed statistical programmer who is ready to take their experience to the next level with us at UCR.

About the Position
As a statistical programmer, you will play a central role in our clinical trials and registry studies.
Your responsibilities include:
- programming tables, figures, and listings for clinical study reports and scientific publications according to specifications in study protocols and statistical analysis plans
- programming in SAS and/or R
- programming and quality control of analysis datasets in clinical studies
- development and documentation of data management plans (DMP)
- programming table and figure shells for statistical analysis plans
- creating randomization lists
- programming statistical analyses
- managing large datasets
- ordering and merging data from the National Board of Health and Welfare's registers and national quality registers
- collaborating with other project members such as biostatisticians, researchers, clinical trial leaders, and monitors in the work with research reports, scientific publications, and contacts with register holders and authorities
- environmental monitoring
- contributing to the development of governing documents (SOPs)
Your Profile and Background
We place great emphasis on personal qualities and believe that you are an experienced and solution-oriented person who is passionate about medical research.
You who apply for the position:
- have a university degree in mathematical statistics or statistics
- are interested in and skilled in programming
- are comfortable working with data and statistics
- are interested in clinical research
- are passionate about contributing to improved health for people in Sweden and the world
- are structured, analytical, solution-oriented, and take independent responsibility
- are positive and enjoy being part of a team working towards common goals
- can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
We consider it an advantage if you have experience in:
- programming in SAS and/or R
- clinical drug trials or studies with medical devices
- ICH-GCP
- EDC systems, e.g., REDCap
- CDISC, ADaM
- SQL
- registry research, health registers
- work in industry, academia, CRO
