Qualified Accounting Economist for Exciting Assignment in Uppsala

The assignment is expected to last for 6 months starting at the end of February, and then transition into a permanent position. Possibility of hybrid work and working remotely 2 days a week. Job Description

As a qualified accounting economist with our client in Uppsala, you will work independently with ongoing accounting in a small finance team. You will report to the CFO, and your tasks will include:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Monthly and annual closing
• Reconciliations and accruals
• Reporting
• Tax and VAT handling

About You

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics or equivalent and relevant experience in qualified accounting work where you have worked with the above-mentioned tasks. You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English and have good knowledge of Excel and are used to working with it as a tool. It is a strong merit if you also have experience with SAP.

To thrive in the role, we see that you are confident in yourself and your knowledge. We are looking for someone who is passionate about accounting and has analytical skills. You have a humble approach combined with being efficient and precise. You are attracted to the mix of ongoing bookkeeping and financial management and understand the importance of the entire flow. Furthermore, you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and are good at meeting deadlines. You enjoy working independently while being service-minded and having very good communication skills.
