Meeting Points 65+ is part of the open initiatives for people over 65 years old. In our operations, we work from a public health perspective and offer health-promoting activities in the form of social, physical, and educational initiatives, as well as advice and support for good dietary habits. We are located at 15 meeting points spread throughout the municipality with a strong sense of community within the group. Our team consists of activity leaders, health educators, and physiotherapists.

Your Mission

You will work alongside activity leaders and health educators in health-promoting efforts, where your main task is to lead physical activities/training sessions. You will motivate and support physical activity and training. Together with the rest of the team, you will oversee the overall daily operations at your unit. Your work will include introducing, following up, and adapting seniors' training in our gyms. You will also lead training groups.

Your Background

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with experience in rehabilitation work. We prefer candidates with training in aging. Experience in leading training groups and giving presentations is considered an asset.

As a person, you are flexible and can see opportunities in changes. You are a communicative individual who finds it easy to listen and adapt your communication style. Furthermore, you possess good pedagogical skills and an understanding of people's varying abilities to absorb knowledge. This job suits someone who is service-oriented, calm, attentive, and accommodating in their interactions. Last but not least, you are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work.
