Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. Already, we offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are now looking for a General Practitioner to join our medical team at Kungsgärdet Health Center. With us, you will have a varied job with both digital and physical patient meetings. You will also have significant collegial collaboration with our other professional roles.

Your assignment

Your tasks consist of regular outpatient work with both physical and digital visits. We also have the opportunity to offer you work at one of our special accommodations one day a week. You are also expected to help develop our working methods and influence the operations and work environment. Opportunities for remote work are available.

Your competence

We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You enjoy working closely with other professionals around the patient and would like to contribute to the development of the operations. We place great importance on personal suitability.

This means you will be part of a large network of knowledgeable colleagues.

Our operations

Kungsgärdet Health Center is part of the Close Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. Our patients range from young families and students to elderly citizens. This makes working with us both varied and stimulating. The health center is centrally located in Uppsala with good bus connections and parking facilities next to the health center. In the spring, Flogsta and Kungsgärdet Health Center have been co-located in Kungsgärdet's premises. This means that the health center has become one of the largest in Uppsala and that you, as an employee, are part of a larger collegial context with all the benefits that entails. We have over 16,000 registered patients and offer, among other things, geriatric care, diabetes care, and minor emergency services. At the health center, everyone works to provide our patients with the best possible care.
