The Unit for Quality and Follow-up is part of the Department for Development and Quality and is a part of the central education administration. The unit's mission includes follow-up and analysis of school activities in Uppsala Municipality, responsibility for state funding applications to the Swedish National Agency for Education, and coordination of teacher students' practical training in schools. We work in an exciting environment with an activity-based working method, which means that many administrations collaborate on workplaces in different environments depending on activities. We are located in the new City Hall and in modern premises with excellent commuting options right next to Uppsala Travel Center.

Your Mission

You will work in a team responsible for several different areas, where you have special responsibility for coordinating the work with state funding related to the education administration. To ensure the team functions well, everyone helps out with different assignments as needed.

This is a job for you who enjoys having many contacts, finds it easy to create structure, and likes to work towards effective solutions. You will contribute to the development of school administrative processes for all school forms from a 0–20 year perspective.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with an academic education or professional experience that the employer deems relevant for the position. To succeed in this role, you need to have experience working as an administrator or coordinator and documented experience working in administrative systems. We prefer candidates with experience in government agencies or municipalities. The job requires you to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You also need to have good knowledge of the school system and good skills in Excel. Knowledge of finance is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are flexible and can see opportunities in changes. You take responsibility and drive your work forward to achieve results. Furthermore, you are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work. This job suits you if you are a service-oriented person who is calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions.
