ABOUT THE POSITION

As a laboratory engineer in their QC team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the products that save lives every day around the world. You will work in their well-equipped chemistry laboratory where they are responsible for the control of the final product and packaging materials, as well as participate in exciting development projects. Advanced analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and microscopy are used here. In this role, you will work independently with laboratory and administrative tasks according to GMP. You will plan and execute your work according to priorities and timelines, participate in improvement work, and drive innovation. Your tasks may also include initiating and investigating deviations, being responsible for instruments and rooms, and reviewing and reporting results. You will become part of a dedicated and knowledgeable team of about 40 people, where they combine high work ethic with a supportive and positive work environment.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Fresenius Kabi. The assignment will be full-time and is expected to last at least until the end of July. There may be a chance for extension, provided that there is room for it and that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Independently perform work according to method descriptions and instructions or experimental plans
• Perform both simpler and more advanced techniques, such as chromatography, cross-matching, microorganism identification, and testing of microbiological media
• Compile, check, and report results
• Participate in deviation investigations
• Actively participate in improvement work within the factory/laboratory

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a university degree with a scientific orientation or several years of experience in similar tasks
• Have experience working with analytical methods and techniques
• Have experience in deviation management
• Have good experience working according to GMP
• Have good computer skills
• Are very comfortable with Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have worked in a similar role in a QC laboratory before.

As a person, you are self-driven, quality-conscious, and unpretentious. You are structured in your work approach and enjoy problem-solving. Furthermore, you should be comfortable with social contacts, and since you will work in a team, it is important that you possess good collaboration skills.
