The microbiological testing business unit at Eurofins BioPharma is a stable and developing group consisting of 14 employees, led by a Business Unit Manager. With a strong foundation in microbiology, the group has extensive expertise, with over 20% of employees holding a doctoral degree in the field. The unit is well equipped to handle various microbiological testing services. The new recruit will strengthen the competence in microbiological testing and review, releasing results to the customer. As Eurofins is part of an expanding company, there are opportunities for growth within the company, to learn new skills, and grow into different roles in the future.
What you will do with us
Eurofins' microbiological contract laboratory in Sweden performs analyses on behalf of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Our vision is to be the best partner and the obvious choice in microbiology. Our customers range from large pharmaceutical companies to small development companies. We provide microbiological support and are a comprehensive partner in microbiology. The range of products we analyze includes tablets, gels, creams, syringes, vials, and ampoules. The assignments vary greatly, which means that the work in the business is diverse. Your main tasks will include:
You will be responsible for reviewing raw data for routine analyses. You will also participate in performing microbiological analyses, which include qualified interpretation of analysis results, participation in administrative and quality-related tasks related to the laboratory (deviation, CAPA, CC), and participation in method verifications and validations.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you need to have a university degree with a focus on microbiology or equivalent and several years of work experience in laboratory work within microbiology.
It is advantageous if you have work experience in reviewing controlling and reporting documentation in GMP-controlled operations and/or knowledge of current pharmacopoeia requirements in microbiology and experience in their application.

You are results-oriented, flexible, can plan your work independently, and deliver results on time. You understand and analyze complex issues in a structured manner and are confident in making your own assessments based on your level of knowledge. You are communicative and share knowledge and experiences to achieve common goals.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing is a requirement. A driver's license B is advantageous as customer visits may occur.
Practical information
