We at Randstad Life Sciences are looking for a laboratory engineer in QC chemistry who wants to work with our clients in Uppsala/Stockholm, with a focus on Uppsala. We offer a permanent position initiated with a 6-month probationary period. The length of the initial assignment varies depending on the client and assignment. 

We are looking for someone with a degree in natural sciences with a focus on analytical chemistry (or equivalent). You have several years of work experience in Quality Control and chemical analysis, and it is considered a merit if you have professional experience working according to GMP. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and have a humble approach to your tasks. To succeed in the role as a consultant, it is important that you are curious and can work independently and proactively. The ability to work flexibly is important as priorities often change. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The tasks will vary depending on the assignment and client. The work may include:

• stability studies
• method development
• work within validation.

Analyst techniques used include, among others, HPLC, UPLC, GC, and LC-MS. The laboratory work is carried out in accordance with GMP, and continuous improvement work follows LEAN principles. You will alternate between routine work and development work in project form.
