We are now looking for a Senior QA Engineer - Projects for the QA Projects section at Cytiva's QA department in Uppsala. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will represent QA in R&D and site projects with a special focus on validation activities. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with colleagues from production, R&D, and PMO, among others. The position is an on-site role based in Uppsala.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Represent QA in cross-functional projects such as new product and equipment projects.
  • Contribute to ensuring that validation activities are completed within set timelines, in close collaboration with other functions.
  • Represent QA in cross-functional risk analyses.
  • Review and approve risk analyses, validation documentation, and deviations.
  • Actively participate in and drive change and continuous improvements within projects and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with our quality management system (QMS) in close collaboration with the rest of the organization.

The basic requirements for the position are:

  • University degree in chemistry, pharmacy, or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in similar QA roles within regulated Life Sciences operations (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or GMP).
  • Experience representing QA in projects.
  • Good knowledge of validation and qualification activities in automation, process equipment, and CSV.
  • Experience in driving and/or representing QA in risk analyses.
  • Experience in driving and/or representing QA in deviation investigations.
  • You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is also advantageous if you have:

  • Good knowledge of risk analysis methodologies.
  • Experience in complex QA projects and activities.
