JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a new colleague; do you want to become one of us and join our health and medical care unit?

Are you a licensed nurse looking for a varied and responsible job? As a night nurse, you will be responsible for the medical care of patients in regular and special housing, as well as within disability care. Your work will include counseling, treatment, and acute assessments.

The focus as a night nurse is on health and medical care interventions where you work independently and are part of the joint unit with other licensed professionals. In the unit, in addition to nurses, there are also occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and nursing assistants. Nighttime partners are primarily care staff, where you as a nurse lead and distribute the work, but it also involves teamwork with all professions.

The nursing group has been fully staffed for many years with a mix of experience, age, and time in the field, and as a night nurse, you will be part of a small team of nurses with individual planning days and meeting times for specific issues that concern and develop night work.

As a night nurse, you sometimes participate in care staff meetings for common issues and also join joint workplace meetings with colleagues who work during the day.

We work in the documentation system Treserva with processes according to ICF/KVÅ. The municipality uses a signing app for medication management and medication dispensers. Development work regarding digital solutions and more is an exciting and ongoing process. Roles of responsibility and opportunities for specialized skills in areas of special interest are encouraged.

The health and medical care unit has a shared operational facility adjacent to Tallmon’s care home, and the care staff at night are part of a common unit based at the care home.

Tallmon’s care home is close to nature and has large common areas both indoors and outdoors. The facility includes gathering areas, an adapted gym, a training kitchen, and a sauna for the residents. Outdoors, there are opportunities for relaxation in pleasant outdoor spaces with beautiful gardens.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are an educated and licensed nurse. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage.

It is also advantageous if you have:

• Specialist education focusing on elderly care/district nursing
• Previous work experience from municipal health and medical care
• Previous experience of night shifts
• Computer skills

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

OTHER

Work according to desired schedule in Timecare. Regular working hours are 20:45 - 07:15. Weekly working time is 34 hours/week.
