Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. We are now looking for a nurse for a full-time temporary position where the work will rotate between days/evenings and nights throughout the week. Rotation supplements are provided according to agreement. Desired schedules are applied. The temporary position is for 1 year with a start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

Your Mission

Your mission as a nurse at the emergency reception will be to triage and receive patients who come to the reception. You will have a varied job in a team, which also includes assisting with various examinations and treatments.

Your Competence

We are looking for a nurse, preferably with a few years of experience in primary care and/or emergency care, and preferably with further education.

As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work efficiently, and to be successful in the job, you need to be flexible in your working methods. The work requires good collaboration skills and you should enjoy working in a team, but also have the ability to work independently. We place great emphasis on the willingness and ability to develop the operations together with other colleagues at the reception.

Our Operations

The Tierp Health Center is located between Uppsala and Gävle with good commuting opportunities. We have just under 20,000 registered patients, making us one of the largest health centers in the country. We are about 115 employees working in teams with all services within the health center's mission, of which part consists of the emergency reception. Our patients are both young and old and live in Tierp and the surrounding rural areas.
