Target Group

The Financial Support Group is tasked with working together with individuals to achieve self-sufficiency as quickly as possible while assessing the right to financial support. Questions regarding the municipality's housing social contracts are also handled by the Financial Support Group, which expands the target group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of social worker in the Financial Support Group, you will work with targeted interventions to facilitate entry into the labor market and counteract passivity. You will work with authority by investigating the right to financial support and making decisions according to the Social Services Act. Together with the individual, you will establish an action plan to achieve self-sufficiency. This work requires extensive collaboration, both with internal and external parties, in striving for the individual to achieve self-sufficiency.

The Financial Support Group collaborates with the municipality's Labor Market Unit, which assists with mapping and further work-preparatory measures in cooperation with the Employment Service.

A part of the Financial Support Group handles the municipality's housing social contracts. The work involves meeting citizens in need of housing social contracts for various reasons, investigating needs, and implementing decisions made. Further assignments include supporting residents towards their own contracts and thus independence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants need to have a degree in social work and preferably experience working with financial support previously; other authority experience is meritorious. You should have good knowledge of applicable legislation in the area. It is important that you feel comfortable with work that involves meeting people with dignity and providing good quality despite a high tempo with high demands for documentation and legal security. Experience with the operational system Treserva is desirable.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and open. You have good collaborative skills and are keen to create good relationships. You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing and are interested in actively developing the organization. We place great emphasis on personal maturity and suitability.

You work independently with high structure and can manage many parallel processes at different stages. You are good at staying calm even in pressured situations and have a well-developed ability to communicate directly and clearly while working to strengthen the individual's own capabilities.

A driver's license (B) is desirable but not a requirement.
