Target Group

The Welfare Support Group is tasked with working together with individuals to achieve self-sufficiency as quickly as possible while assessing the right to welfare support. Questions regarding the municipality's housing social contracts are also handled by the Welfare Support Group, which expands the target group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of social worker in the Welfare Support Group, you will work with targeted interventions to facilitate entry into the labor market and counteract passivity. You will engage in authority exercise by investigating the right to welfare support and making decisions according to the Social Services Act. Together with the individual, you will establish an action plan to achieve self-sufficiency. The work requires extensive collaboration, both with internal and external parties, in the pursuit of helping the individual achieve self-sufficiency.

The Welfare Support Group collaborates with the municipality's Labor Market Unit, which assists with mapping and further job preparation measures in cooperation with the Employment Service.

A part of the Welfare Support Group handles the municipality's housing social contracts. The work involves meeting citizens in need of housing social contracts for various reasons, assessing needs, and implementing decisions made. Further tasks include supporting residents in obtaining their own contracts and thereby achieving independence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have a degree in social work and preferably experience working with welfare support. Other authority exercise experience is meritorious. You should have good knowledge of applicable legislation in the area. It is important that you feel comfortable with work that involves meeting people with dignity and providing quality service despite a high pace with strict documentation and legal security requirements. Experience with the operational system Treserva is desirable.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and open. You have good collaborative skills and care about building positive relationships. You have an excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing and are interested in actively developing the organization. We place great emphasis on personal maturity and suitability.

You work independently with high structure and can manage many parallel processes at different stages. You are good at staying calm even in pressured situations and have a well-developed ability to communicate clearly and directly while working to strengthen the individual's own abilities.

A B driver's license is desirable but not required.
