The Functional Support area is currently on an exciting journey aimed at promoting development and enhanced quality to be a modern Functional Support organization. To achieve this, we need engaged and professionally proud employees in all our various functions, not least in the care-related work.

The Functional Support area is now looking for a support assistant for a group home located centrally in Ängelholm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Support Assistant, you will work in everyday care for the individual user. You will participate in the quality development of the operations. You should promote various communication pathways to benefit the user's self-determination and influence. Carry out activities and provide services according to the implementation plan and follow up on the implementation plan according to routine. Furthermore, you should have a good dialogue with representatives/relatives.

As a support assistant, you may have different areas of responsibility within the framework of your role and the needs of the organization.

In addition to competence and experience, personal suitability will weigh heavily in our selection. To succeed in the role of support assistant with us, you need to feel comfortable giving and receiving feedback. You need to be flexible, curious, and patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education as a nursing assistant in accordance with the requirements set out in HSLF-FS2023:14
• Child and Youth Program, focus on Social Work
• Higher education deemed suitable by the employer. Professional certification is requested for new recruits.

• Well-versed in LSS legislation
• Experience working within LSS
• Good IT and computer skills
• Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Clarifying pedagogy

Desirable qualifications:

• IBIC
• Experience with outwardly aggressive behavior
• Experience with emotional instability personality disorder (EIPS)
• ACC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication)
• TAKK (Signs as Support)
