JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The tasks within LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) vary depending on the individual you support. This may involve planning the week, managing the household, and accompanying on leisure activities such as visiting summer markets, swimming, organizing barbecues, or shopping in town. Your work may also involve providing more practical support such as personal care, medication, mobility assistance, and training. Some health and medical tasks require delegation from a nurse, and you will receive training in connection with your introduction with us.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to be at least 18 years old and have an interest in working with people!

Much of our work is documented digitally, so you need to have:

• Basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills.

As a person, you are:

• Responsible; we have a responsibility for people, and therefore it is especially important to be on time, keep agreements, communicate your needs, and ask if you do not understand something.
• Relationship-building; since you will be working with and for others. You see the value in creating a good atmosphere with both the users you will assist and the colleagues you will collaborate with.
• Flexible; as everyday life with us is varied. You enjoy finding alternative solutions and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

As a person, you enjoy working both independently and in a team.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with individuals with disabilities. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability.
