About the Workplace

At the Health and Care Administration, we work with people. Real people. People who, just like you, live life. We are about 4500 employees - from nursing assistants, support assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to economists, investigators, and assistance officers who contribute in various ways to ensure that the city's elderly and people with disabilities can live a rich and independent life.

We operate from the office located at Närlundavägen 26 and work with clients residing in Närlunda, Högaborg, Söder, Elineberg, and Gustavslund.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible.

You will start from the unit's location and move between different clients by car or bicycle (if not within walking distance) and follow a work card. Our working method is characterized by a salutogenic approach, which means providing personal support based on individual needs and conditions in the clients' homes. As a nursing assistant, you primarily work independently and provide care in the form of personal care, support during meals, social interaction, and more.

You will also perform tasks delegated by a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist, such as training interventions, medication handover, and wound dressing. You will work in a team with various professionals.

In your work, you will use various digital tools, and your work phone is an important work tool, where you can find work cards and routines.

We work with fixed care contacts, and the job responsibilities also include documentation.

In home care in Helsingborg city, you will work on a schedule either during the day or evening, with working hours scheduled from 06:45-15:15 or 14:45-23:15. The schedule you receive may change if the needs of the operation change.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has a genuine interest in working with people. You have the ability to meet each individual based on their needs and wishes. In home care, it is important that you are independent and responsible and can act quickly and effectively, even in challenging situations or workload surges. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and see development as a natural part of the job.

To proceed in the recruitment process, you also need to have:

• basic computer skills and documentation experience
• be comfortable working with digital tools
• be willing to be delegated and perform delegated tasks according to HSL
• a B driver's license
• be able to cycle
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with Phoniro and LifeCare and have experience working in home care or have had other assignments in health and care.
