Vårdcentralen Tornet is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with nearly 8000 listed patients and just over 800 listed children at the associated family center Tellus.

We have about 35 dedicated employees from various professional categories working in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of 5 permanent specialist doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, and medical secretaries. We offer child health care (BVC), medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinics, and elderly care consultations, as well as consultations with occupational therapists, social workers, and physiotherapists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an ST doctor, you will follow your ST plan, and we offer a supportive educational climate with continuous supervision on your path to specialist medical competence. During the first year, you will work at the health center, and in the following four years, you will alternate between rotations at specialist clinics and work at the health center. You will have your own patient list for which you are responsible. In addition to medical consultations at the health center, you will work with nursing homes, home visits, and on-call work during evening and weekend consultations, as well as BVC.

As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences. We assume that everyone has an individual learning process and see it as a given that you will receive support from colleagues to feel secure in your new role. In addition to mandatory ST courses, you will be offered good development opportunities with continuous further education, both internally and externally, based on interest and the needs of the operations. We expect you to be involved and proactive in improvement work and operational development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. We also appreciate if you have previous experience in primary care and experience working with PMO, Melior, and Mina planer.
