Accountant at Hemfint Group

About us Hemfint Group, consisting of the successful e-commerce companies Hemfint, Outl1, and Trendrum with a turnover of approximately 750 million SEK and sales in 4 markets. As part of BHG Group, a leading player in home furnishings and furniture, we offer an exciting work environment focused on growth and customer satisfaction. To take the next step in our development, we are looking for an accountant to take over the responsibility for accounting in the three companies. In this key role, you will have overall responsibility for the ongoing accounting in one of the group's companies, while also working with simpler analysis of the company's results and driving ongoing process improvements.

What do we offer you? As an accountant with us, you will be an important piece of our finance team of 4 people and will play a crucial role in shaping the finance department. Here, you will have significant personal responsibility and the freedom to take on accounting, drive improvements, streamline processes, contribute to the development of the business, and report to the company's CFO.

The position is based in our office in central Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

  • Ongoing bookkeeping: Responsible for the company's ongoing accounting and reconciliations.
  • Financial statements: Independently responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in your company.
  • Declarations: Handle tax, VAT, and income declarations.
  • Participation in efficiency and development projects: Continuously review routines, processes, and system support and actively contribute to their development.
  • Reporting to authorities: Responsible for reporting to various authorities such as SCB and our owner BHG monthly.
  • Annual report: Participate in the work surrounding the annual report and audit.
  • Internal and external contact: Maintain ongoing contact with other departments such as purchasing, logistics, and sales.

Who are you? We are looking for someone with a university degree at least at the bachelor's level in economics and several years of experience in qualified accounting work and reporting. Previous experience in e-commerce is a plus. You have a good understanding of business systems and are used to handling financial data in Excel. If you have previously worked in NAV Microsoft Dynamics, that is an advantage. Furthermore, you are comfortable working with various internal and external contact points and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

To thrive in the role, you are a communicative, confident, and unpretentious person. You take initiative, enjoy collaborating, and have a warm and professional demeanor. You have experience in setting up routines and processes, as well as a good ability to prioritize and structure your work.

Location You will be physically located at the headquarters in central Stockholm. Currently, there is an opportunity to work from home one day a week.

Initially, the employment will be based on the group's internal staffing company.
