We are looking for a payroll specialist at Mathem!

We are a small and close-knit HR team based in Larsboda that works closely together to create a fantastic everyday life for our employees. We collaborate, share knowledge, and support each other. We are now looking for a payroll specialist who appreciates a varied workday and enjoys combining payroll knowledge with HR administration. We are looking for someone who is curious, self-driven, meticulous, and motivated to work closely with the organization.

What you will do as a payroll specialist

• Independent work throughout the entire payroll process where you ensure that salaries are handled according to applicable laws and collective agreements.

• Interpretation and application of collective agreements, as well as keeping updated on changes in laws and collective agreements.

• Continuous development and streamlining of our payroll system and our payroll processes.

• Internal and external reporting, for example to the Social Insurance Agency, Enforcement Authority, Statistics Sweden (SCB), the Tax Agency, as well as Fora and Collectum.

• Financial reconciliations.

• HR administration such as on/off-boarding of employees (preparing employment contracts, managing employment cards).

• Support for employees and managers regarding payroll and HR issues.

• Participate in projects related to payroll and HR.

• Ensure that Mathem's guidelines for managers and employees are updated with process descriptions and guiding documents.

What you need to succeed

• Post-secondary education in payroll, or equivalent education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

• At least 3 years of experience in similar tasks, SRF authorization is a plus.

• Good knowledge of laws, collective agreements, and labor law.

• Knowledge of pensions, taxes, and fees.

• Good knowledge of Excel.

• Good system proficiency.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
