We are now seeking a system administrator for the management's support functions and staff units, whose mission is to support the management and municipal leadership in cross-municipal areas such as personnel, finance, procurement, administration, communication, and business. We are responsible for approximately 20 systems of varying scope and complexity, including systems for personnel and payroll management, finance, budgeting and follow-up, diary management, and case management. The position is based in the finance function, but you will work with all systems within support functions and staff units. Within the administration, there are qualified users and extensive knowledge of existing systems. In the role of system administrator, you will represent the organization regarding IT, systems, and digitalization issues.

The system administration of Härryda municipality is based on the pm3 model with annual management plans and clear roles within both operations and IT. The model provides conditions for clarity, simplicity, uniformity, and feasibility. The work is based on forums for collaboration and a shared culture for the management teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a system administrator with us, you are a key person in the work of managing and developing the operational systems for our support functions and staff units. You will collaborate closely with the IT function and be the unifying force between them, the operations, and system suppliers. Your role is crucial for us to have systems that support the operational needs and contribute to an efficient and forward-looking organization.

In practice, the role involves developing management plans for existing systems and working to map and develop information security. You play an important role in the entire process of acquiring new systems, from needs assessment, through requirements specification and procurement to implementation and commissioning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a relevant university degree or other education/work experience that is considered equivalent by the employer. You have relevant work experience for the position. It is advantageous if you have experience in system administration in public operations and/or project management.

For the role of system administrator, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and solution-focused. You are attentive and have good communication skills, which makes it easy for you to create good collaborations with both colleagues and our operations. You are professional in your work and take great responsibility by driving processes forward and completing tasks you have undertaken. You have a technical understanding and are analytical, which helps you find solutions that work both in the short and long term. Furthermore, you are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. In the recruitment, we will place great emphasis on your personal suitability.
