MediCarrier is looking for a Communications Officer

MediCarrier is the logistics and transport company of Region Stockholm, and the external warehouse for healthcare. From January 1, 2021, MediCarrier is also responsible for the region's emergency stock of critical protective equipment and consumables for healthcare. We are a dynamic and growing company with an important societal mission. We have a turnover of approximately 1.4 billion SEK, handle 9,000 order lines per day, and make 30,000 deliveries per month.

Job Description

As a Communications Officer at MediCarrier, you work in a broad and varied role, handling multiple tasks and issues simultaneously. You report to the Head of Communications and are part of the Communications Department. Together with the Head of Communications, you work on strategic and tactical communication and provide operational communication support to managers and colleagues. In this role, you work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization.

Qualifications

To be successful in this job, you need a university degree in media and communication studies or equivalent education.

Personal Qualities

You are quick to learn, adept at grasping facts even in complex situations, and have high computer literacy. You are used to working independently, have initiative, and strive for the best interests of the organization through a development-oriented approach. You can drive communication issues even when everything is not in place, and you have the ability to create and maintain good working relationships, are service-oriented, work in a structured and efficient manner, and ensure timely completion. You have the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Information

Full-time position, 39.30 hours/week, flexible working hours. Permanent employment with a possible initial probationary period. The position is located in the Lunda industrial area in Spånga with good communications. Possibility of remote work. Background check and security interview will be conducted before employment. Work language is Swedish.
