Case Officer at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 24 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We pay out approximately 250 billion SEK each year. It is everyone's tax money that we manage. It is a great responsibility. That is why we delve into each case, follow laws and regulations, inform and guide, care, and show compassion. It is a job for those who want to be involved and take responsibility. Welcome to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
Case Management and Calculations
As a case officer, you are a civil servant with an important mission: to investigate so that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. Your work involves calculating the size of compensation for work-related injuries for individuals who have been granted this. You mainly have internal contacts with insurance investigators and decision-makers when calculating the life annuity once a decision has been made.
You have contact with the insured by phone and in writing. You gather information, among other sources, from the Swedish Tax Agency, the Pensions Agency, social services, and the Enforcement Authority. As a case officer, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness. You will work in a small workgroup that serves the Work Injury Insurance nationally.
It is a job for those who want to be involved and take responsibility.
We are looking for someone who
- has a high school diploma or equivalent qualifications and experiences
- is service-oriented
- has a systematic and meticulous way of working
- is confident and trustworthy, even in demanding situations
- has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- has good computer skills.
It is a merit if you
- have worked with case management and made decisions that affect individuals
- have worked with financial calculations
- have an interest and aptitude for working with numbers.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
