Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 47-year-old woman living in Linköping
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience with low-arousal responses
• has experience with NPF
• is comfortable around dogs

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• share the customer's interests, which include NärCON, HBTQIA+ issues, dogs, creativity, music, and a strong interest in the spiritual.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 88%. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours on weekdays and weekends between 08:00-18:00 (mixed hours).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
