We are now looking for housing support workers to join our team at Linköping Support Housing. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The positions available are a part-time position at 70% and a six-month full-time temporary position. About Linköping Support Housing  Linköping Support Housing is aimed at individuals with long-term dependency syndrome, often in combination with mental health issues and physical disabilities, and sometimes even a criminal lifestyle. Here, women and men live who need support around the clock in their daily lives. Linköping Support Housing is divided into two stairwell residences in central Linköping, close to public transport, shops, culture, activities, health care, and other services.   

About the role The purpose is to provide support focused on rehabilitative and supportive interventions to provide the best possible conditions for individuals to eventually manage ordinary housing. We work knowledge-based and with recommended working methods and approaches, and we evaluate regularly. Examples of methods include motivational interviewing (MI) (https://www.socialstyrelsen.se/kunskapsstod-och-regler/omraden/evidensbaserad-praktik/metodguiden/mi-motiverande-samtal/) and case management (https://www.socialstyrelsen.se/kunskapsstod-och-regler/omraden/evidensbaserad-praktik/metodguiden/case-management/) based on the strength method. We always focus on the individual and are particularly passionate about making a real difference. We believe in building networks, collaboration, and that together we can create opportunities in society. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts. 

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have relevant education as a social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, social worker, or other equivalent education. We prefer that you have experience working with individuals with dependency issues and good knowledge of evidence-based methods such as MI, ASI, and ESL. A driver's license is a requirement for the position. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. 

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our clients' best interests at the forefront of everything you do.
