Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center to meet their needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

Provider LSS and Social Psychiatry

The Provider LSS and Social Psychiatry with over 400 permanent employees is a service directed at children, youth, and adults. We are governed by LSS, SoL, and HSL and have implementation responsibility for interventions regulated by these laws. The operation is characterized by putting the individual at the center and collaborating to meet the individual's needs. The operation has a strong customer focus, good service spirit, and provides conditions for cross-disciplinary work that is both inspiring and promotes competence development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants an exciting and developing job. Working as a personal assistant involves varied work performed both in and outside our clients' home environments. As a personal assistant, you work with clients who have been granted personal assistance according to the LSS Act.

You support the person in their own home, for example, by accompanying them to social activities, personal hygiene, handling aids, medication management, as well as some cooking and cleaning.

We are now looking for an assistant for a younger child. Good physical fitness is a requirement as the assignment primarily involves performing activities together with the client, such as playgrounds, forests, or other types of activities.

Furthermore, it is important to be social and outgoing. Experience working as a nursing assistant or personal assistant is desirable. Experience working in a family is also meritorious.

The workplace is located just outside Motala.

A driver's license and access to a car are required, as well as the ability to cycle.

For this assignment, we are only seeking female assistants according to the client's wishes.

The working hours will be scheduled for days, afternoons, and evenings, as well as awake nights.

As conditions can change quickly, it is important that you are flexible and have good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period as employment is desired immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a secondary education in healthcare and is a trained nursing assistant. A B driver's license and the ability to cycle are required for the position.

You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when necessary. You have the ability to separate issues from individuals and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.

You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to emerging problems.

You easily adapt, develop, and learn new things according to changing demands, conditions, or circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach.
