About the client

The client lives with extensive functional variations and requires support around the clock. He primarily communicates through facial expressions, sounds, and body language. He relies on his assistants to interpret and meet his needs, and he has a great need for security, structure, and present assistants.

As an assistant, you will be an important part of his daily life – therefore, you need to be patient, attentive, and have a warm and respectful approach.

Job Responsibilities

• Care, hygiene, and daily routines
  
  
• Movement and stimulation exercises
  
  
• Food and medication administration via tube (PEG)
  
  
• Communication and interaction in daily life

• Participation in transportation, activities, and at home

The work requires you to be attentive to small signals that may indicate discomfort or needs. All work is carried out with the utmost care and respect.

• Speaks and understands Swedish fluently (requirement)
  
  
• Is meticulous, responsible, and attentive
  
  
• Has a good ability to read other people
  
  
• Is interested in creating a meaningful daily life together with the client
  
  
• Is open to learning and following instructions
  
  
• Flexibility is a big plus

Previous experience in personal assistance, healthcare, or similar is a significant merit, specifically with tube feeding. A driver's license is not a requirement.

You should be smoke-free during working hours and come to work healthy – the client is particularly sensitive to infections.

Working Hours & Employment Type

• Position for approximately 30 hours a week for the right person
