The Office for the Development of Core Processes drives and coordinates the development of the core operations' working methods with the support of digital tools in accordance with the established direction for development work. The office currently consists of a head of office and six officers.
As the deputy head of the office, you assist the head of office in planning, coordinating, driving, and following up on operations. Your tasks are both operational and strategic. You provide management support by clarifying options in decision-making and facilitating dialogues about solutions. You prepare and anchor materials to advance ongoing and upcoming development activities. The role also includes ensuring that developed working methods are maintained from an operational perspective and contributing knowledge about development methodologies and models. The tasks also include supporting the head of office in matters of budget, staffing, and recruitment. An important task is also to communicate about the development in various ways and contexts.
The role involves many points of contact with both departments and within the Prime Minister's Office and the Administrative Department.
We are looking for a person who has a strong interest in organizational development and who wants to contribute to the continued development of the Government Offices' core processes.

Your background
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent. Education in leadership and development methods, such as project management or change management, is an advantage. To succeed in the role, you need several years of experience working in the Government Offices and in digitalization at a strategic level, close to IT and operations. You need to have experience in developing operational processes and implementing digital working methods. You also need to have experience working in a role with many points of contact and a habit of communicating with management, employees, and others in the organization.
It is advantageous if you have experience leading projects or teams. We also prefer that you have experience providing strategic management support to managers and leadership and have experience working with the digitalization of core processes. Furthermore, you need to have very good knowledge of digitalization and change management. Good knowledge of the Government Offices' organization and working methods, as well as insight and understanding of what it is like to work in a politically governed organization, is a prerequisite. Good knowledge of the RK portal or another corresponding application based on BPM tools/process tools will make you successful in the role.

You have excellent collaboration and cooperation skills. You have high integrity and personal maturity and perform your work with very good judgment. You have very good analytical skills and think strategically. You have the ability to place issues in a larger context and see things from a broader perspective. You are self-driven and take initiative, start activities, and achieve results. The work also requires very good pedagogical and communicative skills. You can explain complex problems in a simple way.

We are looking for a new employee. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period. The appointment as deputy head of the office is for three years with the possibility of extension. Start date as soon as possible.
The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
