We are now looking for an interim land manager for Sollentuna Municipality.
About the assignment
We are currently seeking an interim land manager for Sollentuna Municipality. The assignment is expected to last for 6 months with an immediate start. The scope is 70-100%. The assignment will primarily be carried out on-site in Sollentuna.
Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, among other things, the following tasks:
- As the strategic land manager in Sollentuna, you are responsible for the municipality's strategic land work. You take responsibility for and develop the municipality's land reserve and land supply.
- You play an important role in enabling the municipality's future needs for land for municipal activities. Municipal land is also an important tool in achieving the municipality's goals for housing and business development.
- You ensure that a long-term plan exists for the municipality's strategic land work and establish the strategic governing documents that may be needed.
- Represent the municipality in negotiations with property owners and authorities, both in land acquisitions and land sales, as well as in the establishment of property law agreements.
- You are responsible for the municipality's local supply in the community-building process and participate in joint strategic planning both in the short and long term.
- Personnel, budget, and operational responsibility for the land group.
- Prepare documentation for operational planning based on the group's and unit's needs and resource planning.
- The land manager should actively participate in the unit management and has an important role in setting common goals, coordinating, and prioritizing in the development work together with the unit management.
- Follow the political process and, together with the community planning manager, anchor the work with political leadership.
- Lead the group's collaboration with other groups and units within the community-building department and other municipal areas.
- Lead the group's work and ensure that the quality, efficiency, and results of the operations are maintained and developed through feedback and improved routines.
- Participate in internal steering groups; the preparation group for planning and land inquiries, the steering group for urban development, and the steering group for strategic issues, thereby leading a proactive and forward-looking approach to future challenges.
Academic education in community building and/or law, or another academic degree or experience deemed equivalent.
Desirable
- Management experience.
- Experience in municipal operations.
- Worked with business development in private operations.
- Worked with exploitation in municipal operations.
- Worked in a politically governed organization.
- Market knowledge from the real estate and construction industry.
- Experience in municipal operations.
- Experience in procurement according to LOU.
You have good negotiation skills and knowledge of relevant legislation.
You have a developing leadership style, are strategic, and possess good judgment.
