This is your mission

In the role of group manager in the area of security and security protection agreements, you will have operational and methodological development responsibility as well as personnel and work environment responsibility for employees in personnel security. The group works with requirements setting, follow-up, and training on security protection issues in all security protection areas that arise during exposure to security-sensitive activities. You lead and coordinate the group's work at a direct level, ensuring that the group's resources are used in the best way to achieve the organization's and authority's goals.

Main responsibilities:

  • Continuously work to develop the group to optimize development and learning while ensuring a good work environment
  • Belong to the unit's management team and actively participate in strategically and long-term driving the entire operation forward
  • Maintain and develop collaboration with both internal functions within the Security Police and external partners
  • The role may involve tasks that require external representation of the Security Police
  • Lead and distribute work within the area of exposure to security-sensitive activities/security protection agreements

Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna, remote work is not possible at this time. Domestic and international travel may occur.

The qualifications we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Police degree or other relevant academic education, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent
  • Long-standing experience of personnel responsibility and work environment responsibility at a direct level
  • Driver's license (B)
  • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge and experience of security protection work

The position requires Swedish citizenship.

You who are applying may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:

  • Good knowledge of the Security Police's internal regulations
  • Experience in methodological and development work
  • Experience and knowledge of security protection agreements/exposure to security-sensitive activities
  • Experience in conducting training in physical security, information security, and personnel security
  • Understanding and experience in interpreting regulations and current legislation in security protection areas

You are goal and results-driven and have the ability to switch between planned and event-driven activities, and you have the ability to independently take initiative, prioritize, and drive issues. You act on problems that arise and remove obstacles.

The Security Police places high demands on security and confidentiality, therefore we expect you to have a high security awareness.

Employment conditions

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment at the Security Police involves placement in a security class. Employment also requires a satisfactory result in the security clearance with background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
