About the role
Do you want to work as a Building Damage Adjuster within insurance and construction, responsible for damage cases in private, corporate, and agricultural insurance? At Dina Försäkringar Väst, you will become part of a team that handles building damage throughout the entire claims process – from the first customer contact to decision, inspection, and final settlement. The role is based in Uddevalla or Vara and combines office work (80%) with customer visits (20%).

You manage your own damage cases with significant autonomy and responsibility while working closely with colleagues, contractors, and other partners. The goal is to create efficient claims handling with clear communication and a good customer experience. The assignment takes place in an organization that continues to invest in digital development and growth.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building damage within private, corporate, and agricultural insurance.
• Manage the entire claims process from notification to decision and payment of compensation.
• Review calculations, quotes, and other documentation related to claims.
• Inspect building damage on-site at customers' premises and coordinate dialogue with contractors and partners.
• Document cases and make well-founded decisions based on insurance terms and current procedures.
• Contribute to the team's joint work by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues when needed.

Who you are
We are looking for someone with experience from the construction industry, building damage adjustment, or similar operations where you have worked with building technical assessments and customer contact. You thrive combining independent work with close collaboration and have the ability to build trust even in situations where the customer is in a challenging position.

We would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education.
• Experience in building damage adjustment at an insurance company or from contracting activities.
• Good knowledge of MEPS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Good administrative skills and experience documenting and handling cases in business systems.
• Category B driver's license, as the role involves on-site inspections at customers.

You enjoy collaborating with others, communicate clearly in speech and writing, and work in a service-oriented manner with a business-like approach. You are solution-oriented, unpretentious, and confident in making decisions within your area of responsibility.
