About the role

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Job Coach/Mentor to join our team within the Rusta och Matcha program.

As a Job Coach, you will work with unemployed participants, providing them with support and guidance to find their path towards employment or education. Your mission is to create individual action plans, track progress, and provide participants with concrete tools to strengthen their chances on the labor market.

• Individual coaching and support for participants in their job search
• Create action plans and set goals for each participant
• Motivate and engage participants to take active steps towards employment or education
• Collaborate with employers to find suitable job matches for participants
• Document and report progress according to the Rusta och Matcha program guidelines

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a job coach, mentor, or in a similar role
• Understanding of the labor market and tools to assist job seekers
• Ability to build good relationships and motivate others
• Structured and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Interest and commitment to helping people get closer to the labor market

Educational Requirements (choose one alternative):

Alternative 1:

• At least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the previous system)
• At least two years of full-time work experience

Alternative 2:

• At least one year of full-time post-secondary studies with passing grades
• At least three years of full-time work experience in one of the following areas: Personnel management with responsibility for staff, Recruitment, Transition work for job seekers, Study and career guidance, Case handling in personnel matters (not solely administration), Work with labor market issues, or Work with social and group dynamics.
