Workplace Description

Vinsta Primary School consists of two units, Östra and Västra, and is located in Vällingby in western Stockholm.

The school is a municipal F-9 school with approx. 850 students distributed with grades F-6 at Östra and grades 4-9 at Västra. We are organizationally divided into stages led by assistant principals.

Job Description

We are looking for a Textile Arts teacher for the autumn term 2026, preferably in combination with another subject (e.g., mathematics or art). The textile arts position corresponds to 75% of a full-time job and is scheduled over four days a week. The teaching is mainly located at Vinsta Primary School Östra where you teach grades 3-6, but you also have two classes at the intermediate level at Västra.

The Teaching

You are a secure and clear leader who has a good ability to build relationships and collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have knowledge and experience of meeting students with different abilities and prerequisites. You keep the student in focus when planning your teaching. In your teaching, you plan and work with leadership and stimulation so that all students get the prerequisites for goal fulfillment, security, and study peace.

Working in a work team is seen as an advantage to jointly plan the teaching based on both the individual's and the group's needs. You are active and involved in driving the school's development forward, but you also manage to work independently.
