Eriksdalsskolan Södermalm

Do you want to work in a well-organized and collegial environment where you truly make a difference – together with others? We are now looking for an engaged recreational leader/teacher (lärare mot fritidshem) for our adapted primary school.

Eriksdalsskolan's adapted primary school is a secure and competent operation with 10 classes and around 50 employees.

Here, we work in teams with high staff density based on the students' needs. We have established structures, close collaboration between professions, and a clear focus on a sustainable work environment where you are never alone in your tasks.

The school is centrally located on Södermalm with good transport links and proximity to both the city and nature.

Your role

As a recreational leader/teacher, you work together with colleagues throughout the student's day, both in school and in the after-school care center. You contribute to creating a safe, structured, and meaningful operation where every student is given the best possible conditions for development.

The work involves:

• planning, implementing, and developing education in the after-school care center
• working closely with students in groups and sometimes individually
• collaborating with teachers, student assistants, management, and student health services
• contributing to a clear, structured, and predictable environment

You also share responsibility in the after-school care center together with a colleague. The assignment includes planning, structure, and development of the operation – with support from colleagues and management.

We work with students with intellectual disabilities, often in combination with other needs.

We place great emphasis on:

• structure and predictability
• alternative and augmentative communication (AAC)
• low-arousal approach (low-affective handling)
• a common approach within the staff group

We are now looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher for recreational activities (lärare mot fritidshem)
• have experience with, or a strong interest in, working in adapted primary school or similar operations
• enjoy working in teams and contributing to joint development

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF) and low-arousal approach
• Alternative and augmentative communication (AAC)
• Medical or practical tasks (diabetes, feeding tube, epilepsy)
• Documentation systems such as ParaSol

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
