Teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Studies, Grades 6–9

We are looking for an engaged and confident teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Studies who wants to help create an stimulating, structured, and inclusive learning environment for our students.

As a teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Studies, you are responsible for teaching in grades 6–9. You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching with a focus on student learning, creativity, and development. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues and active participation in the school's overall quality work. We view it positively if you have certification in another subject for primary school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Home Economics and Consumer Studies for primary school.
• Has a secure and clear classroom leadership style and the ability to build good relationships with students.
• Works with clarity, structure, and predictability in teaching.
• Delivers varied teaching that meets students' different needs and prerequisites.
• Has a conscious and professional approach to assessment, where formative assessment and clear knowledge requirements are a natural part of teaching.
• Is responsible, flexible, and contributes to a positive work climate.

Other Information

This is a permanent position (40%), with a 6-month probationary period starting in the autumn term of 2026. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
