Nytorpsskolan in Rönninge is a grades F-9 school with approximately 300 students and 45 employees. We are located right in the middle of the villa area, close to the forest and the lake. It is easy to get here both by public transport, by car, or on a nice walk from the commuter train. We make frequent use of our beautiful local environment; in our outdoor pedagogy and at the leisure center for the younger students, and during outdoor and activity days for the older students.

About the position

We are looking for a full-time, permanent after-school program teacher who wants to help create a safe, meaningful, and developmental activity for our students.

As an after-school program teacher with us, you work both in the after-school program and in the school. You are an important part of the students' entire day and contribute to creating good conditions for learning, development, and safety.

Job Description

The assignment includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in the after-school program based on the curriculum. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the after-school program, class teachers, and other professions at the school. You will also work with smaller student groups based on the students' needs.

We are a small school where we help each other, take responsibility together, and work closely with one another. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating, takes initiative, and wants to be an active part of the development of the activity. With us, you get the opportunity to use several parts of your competence and help influence the students' entire day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• are a certified after-school program teacher
• find it easy to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• are secure, responsible, and solution-oriented
• enjoy collaborating and contributing to the whole
• can work independently and take own initiatives
• want to help develop an activity where the students' best interests are always in focus

It is an advantage if you have experience of:

• working in an after-school program
• working with students in need of special support
• group-strengthening and safety-creating work
• leading activities for smaller student groups
