About the role
We are currently looking for a service-oriented receptionist and switchboard operator for our client in the public sector. In this role, you will play a central part in the operations by strengthening both the reception and switchboard functions. You will be responsible for providing visitors, employees, and external contacts with professional, welcoming, and solution-oriented service.

You will work in close collaboration with an experienced colleague, ensuring a high level of service, efficient information flow, and a well-functioning daily operation. This role is ideal for you if you thrive in a social and varied environment, possess strong administrative skills, and are motivated by delivering top-tier service.

Key responsibilities:

• Staff the reception and provide service to visitors
• Handle incoming calls via the switchboard
• Collaborate with other colleagues in administration and customer service

Contract period and scope:
The position is a full-time consultancy assignment starting in the autumn, as agreed. The initial contract is for 6 months with the possibility of extension. You will work on-site at the client's premises.

Requirements for the role:

• Upper secondary education or equivalent
• At least six (6) months of work experience as a receptionist and/or switchboard operator
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent software
• Experience using telephone switchboards and routing systems
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
