RESPONSIBILITIES

The Payroll Centre administers salaries for all employees working in Tierp, Knivsta, and Älvkarleby municipalities, as well as for all employees in TEMAB (Tierp Energy & Environment AB).

The Payroll Centre has 13 employees distributed among payroll consultants, payroll administrators, development strategists, and system administrators.

As a payroll consultant, you work in a team but also very independently with all steps in the payroll process.

An important part of the job is to contribute to continuous improvements. Since the role involves many different contacts, it is a requirement that you can express yourself well in speech and writing. Good familiarity with the Office suite is required.

As a person, you are a good analyst who is good at troubleshooting, seeing connections, and being able to solve complex issues and problems. The work requires precision and high integrity. You are service-oriented, which means you are attentive and accommodating in your interactions; you have pedagogical ability and understanding for other people's different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge. You like to take responsibility but also understand the importance of collaboration and that the team must succeed in its task. You have a desire to influence and develop. We work to have a strong customer focus and professional interaction.

In the role of payroll consultant at the Payroll Centre, it is important to be structured and able to prioritize your day correctly as the work is partly governed by different time limits. To succeed in the role, we see that your personal qualities are of great importance, which means that you have a good ability to collaborate, work in teams, but also the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS

Tierp Municipality belongs to a Finnish administrative area. If, in addition to our other competence requirements, you also speak Finnish, it can be an asset.

Working hours: Daytime.
