Uppsala Parking is now recruiting an IT and Digitalization Manager with overall responsibility for developing, coordinating, and driving the company's work within IT and digitalization. Uppsala Parking and Mobility AB is a wholly-owned municipal company tasked with developing and managing parking and mobility solutions in Uppsala. The company is responsible for parking on public streets and municipal quarter land, as well as operating several parking facilities around the city. The company is known as an innovative actor that dares to think new and challenge the market.

Our mandate has recently been expanded to also include mobility, with a focus on measures that promote sustainable travel. This could, for example, involve car and bike sharing services.

About the Role

Uppsala Parking is in an exciting phase of development where digitalization, data, and smart services play an increasingly important role. Through digital payment solutions, charging infrastructure, mobility services, and operational data, new opportunities are created to develop both the business and services for the residents of Uppsala.

As the IT and Digitalization Manager, you will have a central role in this development. The role is newly established and entails overall responsibility for developing, coordinating, and creating structure within the company's IT and digitalization work. You will become the company's internal specialist in the area and play a key role in ensuring that IT and digitalization contribute to the business's development and long-term goals.

You will work closely with the CEO and the management team, contributing decision support, priorities, and perspectives on issues related to IT, digitalization, and business development. The role involves many contact surfaces, both internally and externally, where you act as a link between the business's needs, technical possibilities, and external partners.

You are also a key support to the entire company in this area. You support employees in various issues they are involved in. The company is characterized by an engaged and development-oriented working approach. Our IT environment includes both cloud-based services and locally hosted solutions. We manage around 20 systems ourselves, and we have as many systems where we are users and the systems are managed by another party. You collaborate with and receive support from Uppsala Municipality's IT department.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the company's IT and digitalization work based on business needs and goals.
• Drive development initiatives, change management, and digitalization projects that contribute to increased business benefit.
• Coordinate system administration and support the business's system owners.
• Responsible for and develop the company's system administration model.
• Develop processes, working methods, and governance within the IT area.
• Responsible for procurement, including requirement setting during the acquisition and development of systems and services.
• Responsible for monitoring suppliers, contracts, and deliveries.
• Prepare decision support materials and report IT-related issues to management and the board.
• Responsible for monitoring the IT budget and environmental scanning in the area.

Who Are You?

To succeed in the role, you have relevant education in IT or digitalization, or equivalent work experience that we assess as comparable. You have several years of experience working with IT and digitalization issues in a leading, coordinating, or strategic role and are accustomed to driving development and change work. Furthermore, you have experience taking overall responsibility for IT-related issues, collaborating with external suppliers, and translating business needs into solutions that create value and development. You feel confident in dialogue with management and have experience working systematically with decision support, priorities, and monitoring.

It is an advantage if you have experience with procurement of systems or services.

As a person, you are structured, independent, and unpretentious. You thrive in a role where you can combine strategic development work with operational responsibility and have the ability to switch between long-term initiatives and more concrete day-to-day issues.
