At the Swedish Medical Products Agency (Läkemedelsverket), we make a difference together. In life and for life. We work for the health of people and animals, for a better Sweden today and in the future.
Are you an economic administrator with experience in economic administrative work and a strong interest in service? We are now looking for a substitute to join our planning and economics function.
Our Operations
We at the Swedish Medical Products Agency's planning and economics function play an overarching role in the management of the agency and work closely with the agency's managers. The function is responsible for processes and support within economics, business planning, follow-up, quality, as well as internal control and governance. Together, we contribute to creating conditions for an efficient, legally secure, and effective operation.
The function reports directly to the Director General and is led by a Director of Planning and Economics. We are a team of about twenty employees organized into two units with responsible managers: the Economic Accounting Unit and the Planning and Follow-up Unit. In addition, there are employees who report directly to the Director of Planning and Economics.
Our area of responsibility includes business planning, follow-up, and reporting, as well as the agency's strategic planning. We are also responsible for economic accounting, procurement, and purchasing. The function also manages and develops the agency's internal control and governance, including the agency-wide management system for business management and common risk management.
We are now looking for an economic administrator for the Economic Accounting Unit for a six-month fixed-term position.
Your Responsibilities
You will primarily work with customer and supplier accounts and related tasks, such as payments, collection matters, internal and external case handling, and support in economic administrative questions. You will have extensive contact with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, both Swedish and international.
Other common tasks include control routines, reconciliations, and year-end closing work.
The team applies job rotation within its areas of responsibility, which provides breadth and variation in tasks. Since we work closely together as a group, other economic administrative tasks may also arise.
Your Background
We are looking for you who have at least a high school education. Post-secondary education with a focus on economics is an advantage.
You have at least one year of experience in economic administrative work, such as invoice processing, account reconciliations, and work with customer and supplier accounts. You have experience working in the economic system Unit4 ERP (Agresso).
Experience of economic work within a government agency is an advantage, as is experience of administering time reporting in Unit4 ERP (Agresso). You have good system competence and find it easy to get into different IT systems. You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
You must be available to start the fixed-term position from 2026-09-01.
Your Personal Qualities
You find it easy to collaborate, are service-oriented, and take responsibility for your tasks. You contribute to good dialogue and cooperation while being able to work independently when needed.
You work in a structured and careful manner, have the ability to balance quality and efficiency, and follow guidelines and instructions responsibly. You are curious, engaged, and enjoy learning new things. You are happy to share your knowledge and absorb new knowledge from others. You are unpretentious, contribute to a positive work climate, and see the value of helping each other to achieve common goals.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
