Staffing Coordinator for Neonatology at Akademiska Barnsjukhuset
Small hearts need great care! We are a small hospital within the larger system, and it is precisely in this smallness that our greatness lies. Here, we house all the expertise a sick child might need, along with good cooperation, respect, and care. We offer a really good introduction for new employees and many interesting opportunities for development. Here, there is also unexpectedly much joy in what is sometimes very difficult. We take care of the children and their families, and we take care of each other – because we know we do a much better job together!
Our Operations
The Neonatology Section is a large unit with many employees distributed across ICU care, intermediate care, home-based pediatric care, reception services, and transport services. Together, we all contribute to delivering world-class care to newborn babies and their families. Come and become part of our team working with the best job in the world!
Your Role
We offer an stimulating workplace with a strong focus on teamwork, as you will work together with another staffing coordinator. As a staffing coordinator, you are part of the scheduling group that creates schedules four times a year. You collaborate closely with the coordinator and the operational manager. Together, you work towards stable short- and long-term staffing within the section. In the staffing team, both of you are responsible for registering deviations such as illness, leave, and education. You independently resolve staffing gaps and are responsible for keeping Heroma updated. Medinet is also an important work tool. The team's other tasks are very varied. These can include processing statistics, administration, and scheduling for new hires, substitutes, and students, updating the HSA catalog, as well as some ad hoc assignments.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who have experience with similar tasks. You have good computer skills and organizational ability. We prefer that you have an education in behavioral sciences or HR, as much of the work involves personnel as well as laws and agreements. Experience with staffing matters in Heroma is meritorious.
Furthermore, we see that you:
- Take responsibility for your work, are solution-oriented, and dare to think outside the box
- Do what is required and seek the information you need to achieve a good final result in your work
- Are stress-resistant and flexible
- Are good at communicating in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Have the ability to think long-term and communicate in a clear and friendly manner
- Work well in a team but also perform well when working independently
- Enjoy ad hoc tasks of a varied nature
