About the System Administration Unit
The System Administration Unit (SFE) is a unit under the Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Corps (FMTIS), where SFE manages and develops the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems. Our primary mission is to ensure that the systems function according to operational needs, thereby contributing to the Swedish Armed Forces' operational capability.
FMTIS has a presence throughout the country where the Swedish Armed Forces operate, represented by SFE in Enköping, Boden, and Arboga.
About the Staff of the System Administration Unit
As a Case Officer in the security service, you belong to the SFE Staff and support the unit's management. The staff at the System Administration Unit consists of staff functions including administration, security, economy, production coordination, working environment, logistics, HR, and training activities.
We work in accordance with the Security Protection Act, the Security Protection Ordinance, and the Swedish Armed Forces' regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the security service within the unit
- Lead and coordinate the security officers within the unit
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of security service training for unit personnel
- Lead and coordinate internal control of security protection at the unit
- Support security vetting of personnel
- Collaborate with other actors within the unit's geographical area
- Manage signals security
- Prepare security protection analyses, position analyses, and conduct security protection planning
- Participate in staff work with other function representatives in the unit's staff
- Participate in exercises
The work may involve travel within Sweden.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Previous service in a position suitable for this role within the Swedish Armed Forces, or alternatively, service in a security organization at another agency or company
- Category B driver's license

Merits
- Previous experience working at the Swedish Armed Forces or another large agency or organization.
- KHS (Security Service Case Officer Course), a 2-week course at FM UndSäkC
- Security Officer Course (SOK)
- Security training and signals security training within the Swedish Armed Forces or equivalent civilian training
- Knowledge of the Security Protection Act, the Security Protection Ordinance, and corresponding legislation
- Previous experience with security vetting
