The Red Cross is the world's largest humanitarian movement, present in 191 countries. When disaster strikes, we are already on the ground helping vulnerable people, not least thanks to 16 million volunteers. The Swedish Red Cross operates in crisis and disaster management, protection issues, as well as health and care. We have the trust to turn donations from individuals, companies, and authorities into concrete actions for the most vulnerable. We strive to save lives and give hope everywhere and every day. No matter what role you work in, you contribute – in your specific profession and through drive and courage. Welcome to our world!
Do you want to make a difference while developing your HR career?
The Swedish Red Cross is part of the world's largest humanitarian network, with approximately 25,000 volunteers in more than 300 local branches across Sweden. We are now looking for a substitute for one of our HR Partners who will be on parental leave. We are looking for you who have experience and, alongside your professional HR competence, are socially engaged and want to contribute to our important mission – to help people in vulnerable situations and strengthen humanity in society. Here, you will become part of a dedicated HR team that works closely with the operations and makes a difference every day.
Your role
You will become the HR Partner for the support functions within the Swedish Red Cross. This means you will have overall responsibility for HR matters in two of our departments: Finance and Support, and the Secretary General's Office. You will sit on the leadership team for the larger of these departments, Finance and Support, and contribute both strategically and operationally. The work covers the entire HR cycle, from labor law issues and union negotiations to recruitment, payroll, working environment, rehabilitation, and organizational development. Since we have gone through an organization-wide reorganization this spring, you as an HR Partner will also be involved in change management regarding working methods, etc.
In addition to acting as an HR Partner supporting two departments, you will have a special responsibility to develop, implement, and follow up on processes, tools, and working methods within recruitment for the entire organization. This does not mean you are responsible for or conducting all recruitment, but that you are, for example, the contact person for our recruitment system, keeping job ad templates and other materials up to date.
We are looking for someone who
- Has several years of experience in broad and consultative HR work.
- Has a relevant university degree.
- Is proactive, confident in your role, and used to prioritizing.
- Is curious, courageous, and dares to challenge both yourself and others.
- Has a coaching and encouraging approach – and enjoys collaboration.
- Shares the Red Cross's humanitarian values and fundamental principles.
- Experience with recruitment systems such as Grade Onecruiter and ReachMee is meritorious.
We offer
- Meaningful work in a values-driven organization where you make a difference for people in vulnerable situations.
- A work culture characterized by drive, humanity, and learning.
- A close, supportive HR team where collaboration and development are in focus.
- Opportunity to influence and drive development within the HR field in a unique organization.
