Do you want to work in a business-adjacent controller role where you can combine analysis, financial management, and business support? We are now looking for an experienced Interim Controller for an exciting consulting assignment with a large organization that performs a vital societal function.

In this role, you will become a key player in the financial work, collaborating closely with managers and operational leaders on follow-ups, budgets, forecasts, and qualified analyses. The assignment is in a development phase, meaning you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to improved working methods and processes.

As an Interim Controller, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for parts of the monthly closing, including accruals
• Participate in the ongoing closing process
• Conduct financial follow-ups together with managers and operational leaders
• Prepare budgets and forecasts in close collaboration with the business units
• Produce financial analyses, reports, and decision support materials
• Provide qualified financial support to managers and employees
• Contribute to the development of processes within follow-up and reporting
• Participate in business development and finance-related projects
• Handle ongoing ad hoc tasks within the finance area

• A degree in Business/Economics or equivalent education
• At least five years of experience as a Controller
• Very good accounting knowledge
• Very good skills in Excel
• Experience with BI tools, such as Qlik Sense or similar
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work
• Good communication skills and experience presenting financial analyses to various audiences

• Experience from large or complex organizations
• Experience with business-adjacent financial management
• Experience with Mercur
• Experience providing financial support to IT operations or other mission-critical functions
