Lärarförmedlarna is Sweden’s largest provider of substitute teachers for schools. We have agreements with numerous schools and preschools, offering a wide range of exciting assignments! We are now looking for you who want to work as a subject teacher in Wood & Metalwork for grades 7–9 during the autumn term.

We’re looking for someone who can transform raw materials into pride, confidence, and self-assurance. A craft professional who teaches practical skills, patience, safety, and design in a way that makes students proud and eager to learn more. You understand how vital hands-on work is in a digital world, and you have the knowledge and experience to know what matters moving forward. Above all, you love teaching!

How Lärarförmedlarna works

With Lärarförmedlarna, work life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, full-time or part-time, frequently or occasionally. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a full term (Want shorter assignments or single days? Check out our sister company: Pamoja). You are always matched to the best assignment and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. It’s secure and reliable for both you and the school.

How the job works

The role as a substitute teacher includes planning and delivering lessons. It also involves communication with colleagues and parents/guardians.

You manage your work easily through our user-friendly app. You’ll always have a dedicated contact person in our support team to assist you whenever needed – before, during, and after your assignments. You work securely under a collective agreement. Of course, you’ll receive a thorough introduction before starting.

What do you need?

Our clients love our staff! That’s why we’re careful when recruiting.

→ You must be a qualified teacher or have other relevant education.

→ You need experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.

→ You are a skilled educator who understands that the job is also about enthusiasm and inspiration.

→ You must speak and write Swedish (or English in some cases) and have a valid police certificate.

→ You want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Smart and kind, simply put :)

→ You need to be available for part-time or full-time work during the autumn term.
