At Lärarförmedlarna, our mission is to ensure the classroom door is always open – even when regular teachers are sick or away. It's an important job where you make a difference for children and young people every day.

Lärarförmedlarna is Sweden's largest provider of substitute teachers for schools. We have agreements with numerous schools and preschools, offering a wide range of exciting assignments! We are now looking for you who want to work as a subject teacher in textile crafts for lower secondary school (grades 7–9) during the autumn term.

How Lärarförmedlarna works

With Lärarförmedlarna, your working life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, full-time or part-time, frequently or occasionally. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a full term (Want shorter assignments or single days? Check out our sister company; Pamoja). You are always matched to the best assignment for you and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. It's secure and reliable for both you and the school.

How the job works

As a substitute teacher, your responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, as well as communicating with colleagues and parents.

You manage your work easily through our user-friendly app. You also always have access to personal support from our team whenever you need it – before, during, and after your assignments. You work securely under a collective agreement. Of course, you'll receive a thorough introduction before starting.

What do you need?

• You must be a qualified teacher or have other relevant education.
• You need experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.
• You are a skilled pedagogue who understands that the job is also about enthusiasm and inspiration.
• You must speak and write Swedish (or English in some cases), and have a valid certificate of good conduct (belastningsregisterutdrag).
• You want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Simply put: smart and kind :)
• You need to be available for part-time or full-time work during the autumn term.
