Folkuniversitetet's Komvux in Södertälje

We offer upper secondary level subjects within Komvux (Adult Education) for adult students. Teaching takes place in classrooms or via distance learning.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching within your subject areas. You work closely with students, supporting adult learners with diverse backgrounds and prior knowledge. The role also includes assessment and grading according to current regulations, as well as collaboration with colleagues and management regarding course development and pedagogical matters.

Qualifications

• Teaching certification in Social Studies, Geography, and Law.
• Experience in adult education is an advantage.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and distance teaching is an advantage.

You have a good understanding of adult learning and thrive when meeting students at various levels. You are flexible, structured, and clear in your teaching, adapting content and methods to meet students' needs and goals. You are motivated by seeing students develop and take the next step towards employment or further studies. Collaboration and collegial learning are a natural part of your work approach.

Scope: Part-time or hourly employment. The scope can be adapted to the needs of the operation and agreement. Employment Type: Fixed-term position. There is also an option to work on a consulting contract.
