Sätraskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located in Sätra along the red metro line. The school has seen very positive development in its results, and we have good conditions to support the students in the best possible way. The school also includes an adapted primary school, two local special education groups, one RSU group, and three CSU groups. The school has high demand and a constant student population, which creates a calm and secure working environment.

At the school, staff work closely together in teams to create good conditions for the students and a healthy work environment for the educators. The student health service is well-functioning, and the school employs a large number of special educators and special teachers. We are looking for you who want to work at a school where security and a sense of community are important. Sätraskolan is an important hub for security and knowledge for the students in Sätra, living up to the concept of "The school in the middle of the village."

To create good opportunities for students to succeed in learning basic reading and mathematics, we now need an additional lower secondary school teacher. In the work team where the position is located, teachers and leisure-time staff work together to ensure that teaching meets and stimulates all students in the best possible way. The team also has access to a nice school library adapted for lower secondary students, special teachers, a language studio, and a well-functioning EHT team.

The school is undergoing ongoing development work regarding leadership and stimulation, as well as inclusive learning environments. The goal is to create an accessible learning environment for students, and we would be happy if you share our vision of the inclusive classroom and active recess.

We want you to have experience working with reading acquisition and to have a language-developing perspective in your teaching.

Our students have access to iPads, which are used in contexts where appropriate, but we place great emphasis on the balance between analog, creative, and digital working methods.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' achievement of goals, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged in bringing out the best in students. You who apply:

• Are a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language and Mathematics for grades 1–3.
• Have a few years of documented experience in the teaching profession.
• Have experience with digital working methods as an enhancement in teaching.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and you structure and adapt your teaching so that a secure and adequate learning environment is created.

You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role in an effective manner.

You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
